People often get the sense of being ignored in the art-scene, especially here online. We all try so hard to get our foot in the door, it's like trying to stuff yourself in an overfull bus like a sardine in a can. Sometimes you just want to socialize with other artists you admire and you seem to be talking into a brick wall or perhaps you've send your portfolio to a company over a dozen times and still don't even seem to get the smallest response or feedback. Let's talk about AI and the Algorithm

It's been pretty hard since AI was introduced in the art world. ErgoJosh, is an artist I've been following for years now. I'm grateful he made this video, and he inspired me to write this journal and also gave me hope, despite all that's been happening with AI and the algorithm and how it effects artists. I'm trying my best to stay positive. Art is my dream and passion, and I refuse to let anything get in the way of that. I've been drawing/painting since I was a child. With that said, on to the topic, DA, like a lot of other sites is losing touch with it's users and people are understandably upset, but just going to Twitter alone isn't productive, but I understand where people are coming from. As an artist myself, I've seen social media have a lot of ups and downs. This unhealthy algorithm is hurting artists... It's not normal to feel like we gotta churn out so much artwork in such a short amount of time. Art takes time, and to go against that, is harmful. This includes Instagram

I got a pretty bad cold this week, so that's why I haven't been around much. I should be around more once this nasty cold is gone. I've just been trying to take care of myself, so I'm sorry I haven't been around much. I can't really help it. Anyway, I appreciate y'all understanding. ;^;
